Ready to use in eight steps: from unboxing and adjusting the clamps to cleaning at height with the HexaLock® system and the SoapFlow dispenser.
Get started in eight steps
Unpack and check
Open the packaging carefully. Check that the pole, brush, hose and accessories (such as the SoapFlow dispenser) are all there and undamaged.
Adjust the clamps (SureLock)
Check the tension of the clamps on the pole.
- Test: extend a section a little and close the clamp. Push against it. Does the pole slide back?
- Action: use the Allen key supplied to tighten the clamps slightly until the pole is rock-solid.
Feed the water hose through
Feed the thin water hose into the bottom of the pole, through the opening in the GroundGuard (the protective cap).
- Push the hose through until it comes out of the top, thinnest section.
Fit the brush (HexaLock®)
Click the Soft 4-Jet Wash Brush 35 cm onto the black adapter at the top of the pole (the HexaLock® system).
Connect the hose
Attach the water hose to the brush connector.
- To connect: push the hose firmly into the connector until you feel a click or it’s held tight.
- To disconnect: press in the black ring on the connector and pull the hose out at the same time.
Connect the SoapFlow dispenser
Click the pole’s thin water hose into the outlet of the SoapFlow dispenser and connect your garden hose (Gardena-type click connector) to the inlet.
- Fill: fill the reservoir with the CleanStart cleaner supplied.
- Use: turn the dial to ‘SOAP’ to wash and to ‘WATER’ to rinse.
Extend and use
Stand the pole on the ground on its GroundGuard.
- Always start with the top (thinnest) section.
- Push it up and away from you to the length you need (stay below the MAX line).
- Close the clamp.
- Repeat with the next section. Why? This keeps the weight as low as possible, giving you the best balance and the least strain on your back.
Clean & store
Rinse the brush thoroughly with clean water after use.
If possible, let the pole and hose dry before retracting the pole. Always store the set clean and dry: moisture inside a retracted pole can cause suction or oxidation (on aluminium) in the long run.
