Aluminium water-fed poles: stable and affordable
The Aluminum Supreme comes in five lengths — from 3.5 m (11.5 ft; working length 3.1 m, 1.7 kg) to 10.2 m (33.5 ft; working length 9.8 m, 3.9 kg). For most jobs around the house, such as upstairs windows, fascias and solar panels on a pitched roof, an aluminium pole is more than enough.
When to choose aluminium
If you clean a few times a year and stay below a working height of about 7 m, aluminium is the logical choice: the same SureLock™ clamps, the same AlignTrack™ V-groove and the same HexaLock® system as the more expensive ranges, at the lowest price per metre.
When to step up to carbon
Above 7 m, or when you work for longer, you'll feel the weight and flex in your arms. That's when Carbon Fiber or 3K Full Carbon makes sense — or try the Pole Finder first.
