Fascia and soffit cleaning without a ladder

Fascia and soffit cleaning without a ladder

Fascia and soffit cleaning is easy to do yourself with an Eagle Extend® water-fed pole — safely from the ground, with no ladder.

Safely from the ground, to protect your woodwork

Why clean fascias with Eagle Extend®?

Whether your fascias are timber, uPVC or HPL panels such as Trespa, regular care extends their life considerably. A standard broom is too hard and scratches, and a cheap telescopic pole wobbles too much to scrub off stubborn algae:

Safe on paint and plastic: the soft fibres of the 5-Sided Wash Brush remove algae and dirt without scratching paintwork or HPL panels.

Scrubbing power through rigidity: the Aluminum Supreme and Carbon Fiber poles are extremely rigid and don't bend — your effort goes straight into the dirt.

Protection with HexaLock®: under the eaves, the last thing you want is a brush that twists. The HexaLock® connection locks it firmly in place, so you can clean the underside of the gutter and narrow edges properly too.

Reach every gable: with lengths up to 12 metres (39 ft), you can easily reach the highest gables and dormers — straight from the driveway.

Do the maths: the pole pays for itself

Hiring a decorator or cleaning company for fascias and dormers can easily cost €150–250 a visit, including scaffolding or an access platform. After one or two cleans, an Eagle Extend® kit has paid for itself — and you can use the same pole for window cleaning and solar panels. Not sure? Start with the Pole Finder.

Step by step

How to clean fascias and soffits in 4 steps

With a little preparation, cleaning your fascias is safe and effective. Here's how.

1

Pre-treat and lather up

Fascias are often greasy from soot and algae, so water alone isn't enough. Fit the SoapFlow soap dispenser between your tap and the pole and fill it with Allround Cleaner — it loosens airborne grime and green algae without harming the surface.

2

Extend the pole

Stand the pole upright and extend it to the height you need; the SureLock™ clamps stop it from sliding down. Ideally, use the 5-Sided Wash Brush: with bristles on the sides, you never knock a hard brush block against your paintwork.

3

Brush and foam

Turn on the tap and switch on the soap dispenser. Apply a layer of foam, leave it for a moment (don't let it dry) and scrub the surface thoroughly. Tip: don't forget the underside of the soffit — that's where cobwebs tend to hang.

4

Rinse clean

Switch off the soap and rinse with clean water. Doing the windows at the same time? The PureFlow water softener gives you a streak-free finish without limescale marks.
